Long before parishes and communities spoke about sharing of one's time and talent, Mrs. Hastings embodied that idea. Anyone who grew up in St. Andrew's parish during the 60's 70'and 80's knew Mrs. Hastings. You really did not have to read the Parish Bulletin because every activity listed just directed you to "Call Peg Hastings."
