I have so many wonderful memories of the Hastings home on Mason Avenue, but most especially of Mrs. Hastings's generous heart. Everyone was always welcome. Everyone was always made to feel at home. One more kid was never a problem. To Ed, Rose, Pat, Danny, Margaret and Maureen, thanks so much for sharing your Mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
